Many people suffering from mental health disorders are afraid to seek help because many reasons. One reason is because of stereotypes, some stereotypes are "therapy and self help are a waste of time, just take a pill.", “children don’t experience mental health problems”, or “people with mental health problems are unpredictable”. These are stereotypes that are completely myths. Second reason is they’re afraid of being treated differently by their peers because they have been diagnosed with a mental disorder. They often get perceived as a crazy person because of it.
